With Flight One Academy, we are embarking on a journey to create Australia’s leading aviation college, an institution which is singularly focused on delivering quality graduates to industry.
We fundamentally believe that simply having students pass the course is insufficient; we want our graduates to leave with cutting edge skills, relevant practical and theoretical experience, and exposure to live operations that enable them to head into the workforce with a passion for aviation, safety, and the culture of industry. We see our alumni as the custodians of best practice and the industry’s pre-eminent human resource.
Tisdall Aviation Group boasts a modern, reliable and diverse fleet of aircraft to service the needs of our pilot trainees and our charter and tour clients across regional Australia.
Based at Archerfield Airport in Brisbane, Australia, Tisdall Aviation Group has been servicing the Australian aviation industry for over a decade, and today has multi-function bases in Queensland and South Australia.
Across engineering and pilot training we’ve developed customised programmes that deliver the learning, skillsets, & commitment to safety that the aviation industry demands.
Across our group, we operate a fleet of highly-maintained Cessna, Diamond, Beechcraft and Cirrus aircraft, available to students as they progress.
Flight One Academy is part of the industry-owned Tisdall Aviation Group, including charter, brokerage, FBO, MRO, and education services.
Flight One Academy works closely with industry to develop academic and career pathways to help graduates expand their studies & experience.
Our goal is to support our graduates as lifelong members of the Tisdall Aviation Group Family, and provide a range of programmes across their journey, including RPL & consulting.
Headquarters of the group, our brand-new multi-purpose aviation hub, Tisdall Aviation Centre, integrates our aviation training centre with the group’s aircraft maintenance operations, FBO and departure lounge, charter fleet operations and authorised Cirrus Aircraft training academy.
The campus is ideally situated at Archerfield Airport, Brisbane’s main General Aviation and training airfield. The region enjoys a thriving aviation industry and some of the world’s most favourable aviation weather conditions.
From cutting-edge simulators to advanced engineering training aids and workshop aircraft, when combined with ring-side access to our group’s General Aviation operations, our graduates are provided with a uniquely contextualised and enriching learning experience.
We work to maintain a lifelong relationship with graduates, and offer a range of services for industry professionals, from Aviation First Aid, Management qualifications, and type-ratings.
From inception, our goal has been to craft the very best RPL service for engineers, encompassing exclusion lifting, RPL and career advice.
